We are currently seeking an aspiring candidate to join our team as a Senior Trust Administrator - Asia Team.
In this role, you will:
· Assist senior members of the team with the management of a portfolio of trust and companies for Ultra High Net Worth clients based in the Asia region whilst taking responsibility for the management of certain High Net Worth relationships
- Ensure that relationships are managed to a high standard and that there is strong connectivity with the GPB Global Relationship Managers based in Hong Kong, Singapore, and London
- Assist in the regular review of trust structures in-line with HSBC’s risk management framework as well as the wider regulatory environment
- Facilitate and coordinate with across departments, service providers and professional advisors as necessary to follow up and complete client servicing requirements
- Assist with appropriate preparation for client meetings
· Identify enhanced ways of working to improve client experience and operational efficiency
Requirements
be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience of trust and company administration
- Ideally a holder of or studying towards a STEP Diploma or other qualification relevant to trust and company administration
- Familiarity with the Jersey regulatory environment including knowledge of AML and CFT requirements
· A highly effective communicator with attention to detail.
- Tax knowledge would be advantageous
- As this team is works with the Asia Region, an ability to speak and communicate in Mandarin/Cantonese is not essential but advantageous.
