RATE - £10-£11 per hour, 40 hours per week 7:30am to 4pm
Purpose:
To maintain a safe working environment for all employees up to policy and procedure standards.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure training for first aiders are up to date
- Ensure there are enough first aid / fire marshall trained employees compared to number of employees in general
- To book and monitor forklift truck training and usage
- Accident & Near miss logging & reporting
- To conduct risk assessments where needed and enforce action from the outcome
- General health and safety maintenance
- Colligating of reports
- to plan and train staff on latest editions of heath and safety in the workplace
- to check, maintain and order stock for first aid supplies
- to monitor and improve vehicle check sheets and ensure maintenance is recorded & carried out as needed
- To carry out and record inductions to all new members of staff
