Health & Safety Advisor to cover a multi site property portfolio for a reputable organisation operating in the Automotive industry.

Client Details

Excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a reputable organisation who operate in the Automotive rental / repair industry. The role oversees 19 sites across the Midlands / South regions.

This is a home working contract with travel to site required up to 3 times / week.

Description

Regular visits and undertaking of audits to sites across the Midlands / South. Providing expert advice and support at each depot and ensuring the sites are compliant and fit for purpose.

As part of the team, you will be reporting to the HSE Manager and support them by:

• Reacting positively and efficiently to any Health and Safety concerns raised
• Ensuring legal compliance across the Group
• Taking the lead in promoting matters relating to HSE on projects under their control
• Monitoring HSE objectives and targets
• Completing regular Depot inspections and audits and including monitoring the results and close out of any non-conformances

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced across all health, safety and environmental elements. Be an excellent communicator, have a continual improvement mindset and also be pro-active and can work using own initiative.

Ideally you will have familiarity in working in a fast-paced and rapid growth environment. Workshop experience would also be advantageous.

Profile

• Experience as a Health & Safety Co-ordinator / Advisor ideally within a light industrial (manufacturing, logistics, automotive) environment
• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Experience overseeing multiple sites
• Excellent communication skills
• You will have a strong understanding of all HSE legislation
• Have experience in ISO 14001 Environmental Management, ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management and ISO 9001 Quality Management
• Hold a valid driving license
