AddressRole Overview
In this pivotal role, you’ll work alongside our Art Director and a talented design team to define and enhance the visual style of the game’s UI. Your responsibilities will include the creation and meticulous crafting of UI assets, designing visually engaging elements, and animating them to enrich the user experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing a seamless and interactive interface that stands out in a dynamic and continuously evolving development environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Art Director and UX Design team to develop art style guides and set the UI direction.
- Lead the design and creation of engaging and functional UI elements, including menus, HUDs, in-game displays, and interactive components.
- Ensure the UI is consistent with the game’s artistic vision and enhances interaction by designing responsive UI elements that adapt to player actions.
- Work with developers to ensure proper functionality and visual fidelity of UI elements within game engines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in UI design within the F2P mobile game industry.
- Strong passion for UI design and mobile gaming.
- Exceptional graphic design and 2D art skills, particularly in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Deep understanding of typography, iconography, composition, color theory, and motion graphics.
- Demonstrated ability to take UI designs from concept to final in-game implementation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
