This Senior Warehouse Solutions Manager role requires an individual who can effectively manage large scale customer tenders and driven improvement and innovation within existing warehouse customer contracts across the Logistics and supply chain industry. Description
- Oversee complex logistics tender operations and implement improvements where necessary.
- Develop and assist in the implementation of warehouse and supply chain solutions to optimise efficiency.
- While this isn't a person management role the successful candidate will provide support and coaching and advice to members of a high performing team. For large scale tenders you may be supported by Solutions managers, engineer and analysts.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet company objectives.
- Monitor and keen appraised of new technology and innovations to recommend and enhance customers warehousing operations and provide recommendation to customers to innovate their supply chain.
- Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and regulations.
Profile
A successful 'Senior Warehouse Solutions Manager' should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the transport and distribution industry.
- A degree in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain management or business administration (alternatively equivalent industry qualifications or qualification by experience).
- Experience with warehouse automation is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership and customer management abilities.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Expert knowledge of analytical and data management tools.
- Knowledge of modelling and design tools (Autocad, CLASS, Sketch up or similar).
- Knowledge/ accreditation in MTM is advantageous.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
