Job Title: Warehouse Pick Packing Supervisor
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Pick Packing Supervisor to oversee our fast-paced distribution centre based in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, demonstrating proficiency in pick packing operations and a knack for thriving in high-pressure environments. The role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfilment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of pick packers, ensuring adherence to schedules and productivity targets.
Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to maintain high levels of performance and accuracy in pick packing procedures.
Coordinate daily activities, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to meet shipping deadlines.
Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize workflow efficiency.
Resolve any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions in the pick packing process.
Maintain documentation and records related to inventory, orders, and operational procedures.
Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations with a focus on pick packing, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and familiarity with inventory control software.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and a proactive approach to implementing and maintaining safety standards.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and resolve issues efficiently.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse management or logistics is a plus.
