Your responsibilities as a Senior Web Developer:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications using a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality, maintainability, and performance
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines
• Ensure web applications are secure by following security best practices, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing appropriate security measures
• Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and development tools to improve development processes and enhance application capabilities
• Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to the development of technical roadmaps
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, identify root causes, and propose sustainable solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and industry best practices through continuous learning and professional development
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including code comments, design documents, and user guides
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure application availability and scalability
• Provide technical guidance and support to various stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and end-users

To be successful in this position as a Senior Web Developer, we are looking for the following attributes and experience:

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript
• Proficiency in MongoDB
• Strong understanding of Linux systems
• Understand Git version control
• Extensive experience with PHP
• Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Knowledge of web security principles and secure coding practices
• Experience with testing frameworks and automation
• Understanding of performance optimisation techniques
