Senior WordPress Developer

The Role:
As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in ensuring projects meet high standards, collaborating with designers, project leaders to meet client and user requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Create custom WordPress websites based on designs and functional specifications.
* Configure web servers and deployment systems using Apache / Nginx, MySQL.
* Create custom, responsive themes and templates from scratch.
* Customise WordPress plugins, work with custom posts, meta, taxonomies, and tags.
* Utilise PHP-based CMS platforms, mainly WordPress and October.
* Develop exceptional WordPress websites for medium to enterprise levels.
* Provide technical direction aligned with the agencys commercial objectives.
* Communicate at a technical level with internal teams, clients, and third parties.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Web Developer, PHP Developer, WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
* At least 2 years of commercial experience.
* Possess 2-3 years of recent agency experience.
* Experience in provisioning secure infrastructure for WordPress hosting.
* Exceptional PHP skills, including class-based libraries and systems.
* Experience with Shopify, React, and pre-processors such as Sass or Less.
