My client is looking for an experienced EIA manager to join their growing team based across the UK.
Due to their success in securing a number of key and long-term projects, in particular with water companies, they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced EIA practitioner to join their established team.

Currently, my client operates remote working for many of their office-based employees and this is expected to evolve into a blended working arrangement when restrictions enable this.
Location
UK Wide - with significant flexible Home Working. Office locations include Exeter, London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Wakefield, Manchester.
Responsibilities
Managing and overseeing EIA projects and other environmental studies, including successful delivery, client management and financial control
Coordination of multi-disciplinary teams
EIA report, EIA screening and/or scoping reports and environmental report documentation preparation and editing
Working with regulators and liaising with clients
Providing advice on a wide range of environmental issues
Pro-active business development to identify new opportunities and win profitable new business
Client relationship management to support repeat business
Preparation of proposals and tenders successfully
Mentoring of junior staff
Ideally You Will Have The Following
Previous consultancy experience in EIA
Experience in one or more of the following sectors would be essential: onshore renewable energy, energy storage, energy transmission and distribution, rail, transport, property
Experience in managing EIA as part of a Town and Country Planning, Transport & Works Act Order or Development Consent Order
Comprehensive knowledge of English environmental legislation
Specialist skills in a related subject (e.g. town planning, ecology, hydrology, landscape) would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good team player, with the ability to work independently
Full UK driving licence
Additionally, suitable experienced candidates will also need:
BSc degree level qualified in a relevant subject
Preferably MSc qualified in environmental impact assessment, environmental management or a closely related subject
Preferably a member of IEMA and/or Chartered Environmentalist
