Seo Executive

Circa £45,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
12-month secondment/FTC
Manchester city centre (hybrid working)

We’re looking for an SEO Executive to join us in Manchester on a 12-month fixed-term contract to help drive increased traffic to our Co-op Funeralcare website. We’ll look to you to provide data-driven insights that’ll help to define our SEO strategy, as well as pro-actively find opportunities to optimise our pages. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

What you’ll do

• Closely monitor the online performance of our Co-op Funeralcare website, and identify potential optimisation opportunities
• Carry-out in-depth analyses of our competitors’ online performance and share your findings with colleagues
• Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across Co-op Funeralcare
• Build a solid understanding of our online customer journey; using this to influence SEO decision-making end to end

This role would suit people who have

• Experience in an SEO Assistant or SEO Executive role
• Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Looker Studio, and Ahrefs
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights aligned to business objectives
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide actionable, data-driven insights that support decision-making
• Good communication skills and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate technical language for a non-technical audience
