Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a versatile, self-motivated person with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to become the Serious Violence Duty Project and Evaluation Lead. You will be responsible for and have a pivotal role in aiding the work of SkillZONE to improve outcomes for children and adolescents by developing, planning and delivering diversionary activities in order to reduce and educate the number of young people involved in County Lines, injured or killed through Knife Crime and to reduce the impact of antisocial behaviour within Gloucestershire’s communities.
Additionally, you'll be tasked with identifying further potential funding sources to support the future and sustainability of these priorities within the framework of the Serious Violence Duty, a good understanding of Serious Violence Duty would be an advantage. Working with strategic partnerships for collaborative opportunities to uphold an effective and sustainable education platform within SkillZONE, ultimately aiding Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and Gloucestershire County Council in achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
This position is externally funded, you'll be responsible for quarterly monitoring, evaluation, and reporting back to the grant funder. Working closely with the SkillZONE Manager, you'll ensure the collection and reporting of pertinent management information to maintain the effectiveness and sustainability of the programme.
