Cpl are currently partnering with a leading NI business who for the past 70 years have developed to be the largest family-operated Foodservice Company in Ireland. A well-established business, with an excellent reputation.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Credit Manager, on a permanent basis with either a 4-day or 5-day week.
As the Credit Manager, you will play a key role within the business. Manage the cash collection and debt control function for the entire company portfolio through to legal stage in line with Credit Strategy and Policy.
Report directly to the Head of Credit and Risk, this role involves;
- Leading and developing a team of 10 Credit professionals
- Overseeing the administration of customer accounts
- Ensuring all accounts are settled when they fall due
- Overdue and aged debt is collected efficiently and effectively
- Reduce bad debt and minimise write-offs
- Resolve difficult/sensitive customer situations
- Provide management reports to the business
What we are looking for;
- 3 years Credit Control and 2 years Credit Management Experience
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make commercial decisions
- Experience in working in a target driven, results orientated and fast pace business environment
- Experience in setting and reviewing individual and team performance targets
- Experience in achieving and driving departmental KPI’s
- Experience in staff appraisals, training and development
- Experience in underwriting and the use of credit checking software and other systems to assess new and ongoing trade risks
