My client is a specialist in every aspect of lift design, installation, maintenance, and repairs, established in 2000. They are an independent, British business with an in-house design department capable of crafting bespoke solutions tailored to unique building and customer needs.
Due to expansion and growth, they are now looking for a Service Administrator to be based at their head office in Farnborough on a full-time permanent basis. The role will involve;
- Taking inbound calls from customers that require a site attendance.
- Logging of callouts/service requests
- Arranging callouts for Engineers
- Co-ordinating engineer service visits and repairs for engineers - ensuring maximum efficiency in terms of time and distance.
- Raising appropriate paperwork for the Engineers.
- Liaison with the customers to ensure that the work has been completed on time and to a satisfactory level.
- Raising purchase orders with 3rd party vendors.
- Updating status of inspections/callouts.
- Compile weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Monitoring service reports.
- Carrying out quotations for repair works & invoicing.
- Sourcing equipment from suppliers.
- Completing spreadsheets from insurance reports.
- Dealing with Web site enquires for service contracts.
- Other ad-hoc administrative duties as necessary.
To be considered for the role, you will need to have a strong background in administration within an engineering environment; ideally one of which you are familiar with callout rota, emergency breakdown and maintenance visits. This can be any field engineering discipline.
The role offer a basic salary package of up to £27,500pa, with working hours of Monday to Friday 08:00am to 05:00pm. They offer 25 days' annual leave, plus Bank Holidays, free onsite parking and a company contributory pension scheme.
