Your new role
Your job will be to book in planned maintenance as well as log and respond to calls from customers for urgent jobs and allocate engineers to respond within the contracted period of time. You will be the main contact point for customers so keeping them informed and updated is really important as is recording engineer feedback on to the CRM database.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a job that requires great communication skills both in writing and over the phone and you'll need to adapt your style to suit your contact (whether they are an engineer or customer). You'll be a brilliant problem solver and able to juggle lots of different balls in the air at the same time. Of course, there are deadlines but that won't be something that fazes you, in fact, it might even motivate you!
Previous experience in a busy, office-based, customer support role is essential, as is familiarity with Excel spreadsheets.
