Service Charge Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Service Charge Officer on behalf of our public sector organisation based in East London.

The role will provide a high quality service, focusing on leasehold and Service Charges.

The successful applicant will have previous Service Charge/leasehold finance experience, ideally within a local authority or housing association.

This is a contract role and is paying £25 per hour.

Key duties will include:

• Calculate and produce accurate actual and estimated Service Charge statements
• Assist with annual Service Charge budgets
• Prepare monthly reports
• Manage Service Charge enquiries
• Investigate and response to Service Charge or other lease queries
• Answer queries by telephone and email, providing high quality customer service
• Provide support and advice to colleagues on Service Charge and leasehold matters
• Managing Service Charge accounts, preparing estimates and accounts
• Responding to customer queries and complaints over the telephone and in writing
• Provide clear breakdowns of services charges for customers
