Our client, a specialist homeless charity in Coventry is looking to recruit a Service Co-ordinator.

Synopsis of Duties:

Providing a seamless support service to individuals in Coventry who have been previously placed in temporary accommodation following a period of rough sleeping or homelessness.

You will coordinate a team support the transition of people moving into their own independent accommodation to ensure that individuals continue to develop the independent living skills needed to maintain a tenancy long term and prevent the repeat cycle of homelessness.

Responsible for overseeing the support of people facing multiple disadvantages and will facilitate a multi- disciplinary and holistic approach to people who will benefit from coordinated help from a variety of agencies.

Essential Requirements

Knowledge and understanding of the principles of a trauma-informed approach

Experience of working with people with a wide range of support needs including trauma.

Demonstrable experience of working with people who have complex trauma, which may include high mental health and/or substance misuse issues

Experience of delivering high quality outreach services to people with a wide range of needs and risks.

Ability to liaise and work closely with external professionals to inform and develop Service Users support

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.

DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
