Karma Nirvana, a pioneering charity dedicated to supporting victims and survivors of Honour Based Abuse (HBA), seeks a dynamic Service Delivery and Development Manager. Join our mission to end HBA by overseeing Service Delivery, driving development initiatives, and fostering stakeholder collaboration.
About Karma Nirvana:
Karma Nirvana is the longest-established specialist charity dedicated to supporting victims and survivors of Honour Based Abuse (HBA). For close to three decades, we have led the campaign against Honour Based Abuse; supporting, educating and empowering all those impacted to live abuse-free.
We run the national Honour Based Abuse Helpline, train frontline practitioners and professionals, and campaign for change, working with parliamentarians and policy-makers. Central to our work is the voice and lived experience of survivors of Honour Based Abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service provision aligned with organisational values.
Development and Enhancement: Strategically plan and enhance support services, collaborating with stakeholders to address emerging needs.
New Service Development: Lead the conceptualisation and implementation of new services, securing funding and partnerships.
Funding Opportunities and Grant Writing: Research funding sources, develop persuasive grant proposals, and cultivate donor relationships.
Team Leadership and Development: Provide mentorship, foster a supportive work environment, and deliver high-quality training.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work with stakeholders to ensure a coordinated response, representing Karma Nirvana at national and local levels.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor service effectiveness, prepare reports, and utilise data for continuous improvement.
Recruitment and Frontline Management: Lead recruitment efforts, manage staff development, and ensure service quality and compliance.
Quality Assurance: Implement measures to evaluate service effectiveness, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
Person Specification:
Knowledge and Experience: Previous experience in VAWG/DA sector, managerial experience, and familiarity with safeguarding guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed to ending violence against women and girls, resilient under pressure.
