SalaryThe impact of COVID-19 on Health and Social Care services has been significant. Staff and organisations across Renfrewshire and beyond have made an invaluable contribution to supporting local residents and the vulnerable. The response to COVID-19 will continue for some time, however, Renfrewshire HSCP is now actively developing and implementing its plans for recovery and renewal, considering how we continue to enhance service provision but also how we as an organisation transform Service Delivery.
To support this critical work, we are seeking a Service Coordinator, who will report to the Business Delivery Officer to implement an electronic system within care at home services. You will provide management, support, and guidance to staff responsible for the updating and maintaining of electronic systems, assisting them to make decisions in relation to the deployment of frontline staff.
It is essential that you have a relevant SVQ Level 3 professional qualification in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification or will undertake in post within a specified period in order to maintain SSSC registration.
You will have experience in working with customers and the public, managing people and teams effectively, it is further essential you have experience of updating, managing, and maintaining data through the use of electronic systems. You will be customer focused as part of a fast moving, challenging, continually changing environment, which ensures that all care at home provision meets the individual needs of service users by maintaining an electronic system.
Experience in writing comprehensive reports including recommendations and improvements, Written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to tailor communications depending on the audience, working knowledge of MS Office suite and other relevant IT systems and knowledge of Care Services and National Care Standards is also essential.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 12 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
In order to practice, the post holder will require to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up post and complete the necessary qualifications in order to achieve and maintain registration.
