We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Service Delivery Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can deliver first-class customer service and provide comprehensive onsite support. The successful candidate will be the face of IT, offering 2nd line support and ensuring the smooth operation of our services across various locations.
Day to day of the role:- Provide high-quality services to all users within the organisation.
- Configure and manage the organisation’s network using Cisco Meraki.
- Deliver and set up new equipment such as PCs, printers, and mobile devices.
- Deploy infrastructure components including cabling and communications.
- Maintain user accounts, including configurations for new starters and leavers, support for new users, and mailbox management.
- Commission, relocate, and decommission sites as required for sales and build purposes.
- Offer 2nd line support on allocated tickets, book site visits, and manage personal diaries for site visits.
- Good working knowledge of current development methodologies.
- Ability to quickly understand requirements and designs.
- A working knowledge or a strong desire to learn and implement new technologies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise effectively between long-term projects and short-term support issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 8 or newer, Microsoft Office 2013 or newer.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory user/group administration and group policy.
- Knowledge of PC and peripheral hardware.
- Competitive salary up to £34k with a 10% bonus scheme.
- Company car scheme/car allowance of £5,500.
- Hybrid working model with only 1 day a week required in Solihull.
- Regular travel to other sites, providing variety and engagement with different teams.
