Position required: Service Development Practitioner – Children’s Services
Location: Children’s Services in Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire.
Salary: £37,485
Hours: 38 hours per week
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Service Development team. We are recruiting for a Service Development Practitioner to join our current team, supporting our homes and schools in Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire.
About the role
Kisimul provides therapeutically informed care and education and the Service Development Team work closely with our Therapeutic teams to support the implementation of these approaches in our services.
The Service Development team supports colleagues to enhance their knowledge and skills to support people with a learning disability, autism and associated complex needs. You will have a direct effect on new colleagues’ first experience of the Kisimul Group and how well-equipped colleagues feel to carry out their roles. You will be involved in the planning and delivery of a range of training workshops, for example, autism and learning disability, trauma informed practice and our BILD certified course for behaviour support, Meas. Some of this support will involve direct support in services, modelling approaches, supporting reflective practice and being responsive to service needs. You will provide coaching and mentoring opportunities for colleagues to support them to embed their learning into practice.
