Job description

My client offers supported accommodation to homeless, unemployed & disadvantaged young people. They offer 24/7 residential support with a full-time employability & well-being programme.

· Knowledge/understanding of services & implementation of better practice initiatives

· Lead/manage staff

· Compliance with statutory, regulatory & contractual.

· Working relations/represent positively with stakeholders

· Champion/celebrate good practice

· Application of policies/procedures

· Financial sustainability

· Crete new/maintain relationships with referrers/stakeholders & expand upon these & to complete a through needs/risk assessment with young people

· Network with stakeholders & market to achieve maximum occupancy

· Professional approach to work in line with vision & maintain records in line with statutory & local policies

· Maintain existing referral agencies list & market to new

· Telephone calls & correspondence

· Written progress reports to statutory funders & work alongside colleagues on applications

· Smooth induction of new arrivals

· Communicate with colleagues, residents/agencies building & maintaining open & productive relationships.

· Team meetings

· Staffs members receive supervision

· Events delivering presentations to commissioners/referrers

· Company business plans, complete objectives & achieve targets.

· Work with fundraising team, helping to ensure they have the information to complete bids, proposals/reports.

· Facilitate visits of funders to demonstrate their work

· Assist Fundraising Manager in the collection of positive cases/news

Essential 

Driving licence

Management, preferably in the social care sector; delegating, empowering, motivating and coaching staff.

Results focus, ability to work proactively, plan, organise and optimise resources and complete targets within timescales.

Effective Budget and Resource management

Effectively managing change and delivering service improvements

Networking, influencing and negotiation skills.

Working with disadvantaged young people

Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm (8 hrs) + on-call (rota)
