We are committed to empower people to rebuild their lives and regain independence. The service you will work in….Hestia provides mental health accommodation and support based within 6 properties across Hammersmith and Fulham. These include four medium support properties and two high support properties across the two borough clusters. The housing and support is a recovery focused and psychologically informed service, providing high quality support living to Hammersmith & Fulham service users with a maximum stay of 24 months. During the residency, service users are supported to stabilize their health and to develop independent living skills.  Service users who have demonstrated an ability to manage independent living are referred to Hammersmith & Fulham for an offer of accommodation.In addition, Edgar Wright Court has three independent flats to step down service users who have made good progress toward independence. The three flats provide an opportunity to experience living independently, while being in close proximity to a supported residential service.  Service users housed in the independent flats receive specialist re-settlement and integration support to continue the independent living journey.A day in this role looks like….As a Service Manager at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Mental Health and Complex Needs service. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:Create and lead a high-performing team to achieve individual and service outcomes​.Maintain up to date knowledge of and ensure that your service adheres to the  relevant legislation and policy including GDPR, Safeguarding Adults and Children, Health and Safety, Care Act, housing related support, Mental Health services and Hestia policies and procedures.​Create and maintain positive and effective relationships within and beyond the organisation​.Ensuring that the service and all members of the team understand and have a strong focus on Hestia's safeguarding procedures and legislation.Ensure that all service and service user information is appropriately recorded and shared in line with policy, legislation and good practice.​Deliver co-produced services that is outcome based and person-centred​.Support others to challenge discrimination and exclusion in ways that are likely to achieve change.​Ensure a commitment to personal development by continually improving learner's own knowledge and practice and that of the team through, self-reflection, supervision and performance management.​Manage and show accountability for service resources through recruitment, retention and induction; budgetary control; disciplinary and grievance processes, arrears and voids management and service performance data​Work with the Senior Management Team including the Area Manager and Regional Director to enable the organisa

To excel in this role, you should possess:Manage all elements of service performance related to the contract requirements including analysis of KPIs, outcomes and user experience measures​.Ability to lead and motivate a team based across various premises to achieve service outcomes​.Demonstrable experience of managing accommodation based support services for service users who have complex and challenging mental health issues.​Experience of recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, training, disciplinary action and grievance issues​.Lead on the development and implementation the service's annual Business Plans.​Lead in planning, negotiating and managing the budgets​.Knowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing and auditing service users' support and safety assessment plans.​Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and how to implement policy in practice.​Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.An understanding of co-production and the ability to ensure that the service is delivered in partnership
