What you will be doing:
As an experienced Service Manager to join our busy and successful team at a leading motor dealership in Bath. You will provide exceptional customer service ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
- Maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour, parts and materials.
- Plan the optimum utilisation of the workshop capacity.
- Carry out recall programs and procedures as per manufacturers guidelines and recommendations.
- Ensure the highest possible standard of workmanship within the workshops and to ensure that all work is completed on time and to customer satisfaction.
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally from a motor trade background.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with professionalism and empathy.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with troubleshooting customer issues.
- Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
