SalaryAtrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of the client for Service Manager. The client provides support services for people with autism, learning disability, and acquired brain injury.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a Supported Living facility.
- Develop and implement care plans for residents based on their individual needs and goals.
- Supervise a team of support workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
- Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as required.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making adjustments as necessary.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, promoting independence and dignity.
Requirements
- Hold NVQ Level 3, QCE Level 5 or be willing to obtain this.
- Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team.
- Knowledge of dementia care principles and practices.
- Experience developing and implementing care plans for individuals with complex needs.
- Proficient in medication administration and medical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
