Join Our Team as a Service Forklift Engineer
We are looking for somebody who has experience in the Material Handling Industry, electrical experience, mechanical skills and is familiar with the current national regulations in the field of safety in the workplace, to perform the inspections safely.
Role and Responsibilities OF THE Service Forklift Engineer
The role involves providing support for after sales operations and our customers by carrying out examinations on material handling equipment.
On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:
- Carry out services on a variety of diesel, gas and electric forklift trucks.
- Determine whether equipment is safe to operate / declare any unsafe equipment immediately.
- Recognise and record any additional work required
- Perform oil changes, cambelt changes and more
- To plan your own workload.
Service Forklift Engineer Desired Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills
- Material handling, electrical and mechanical experience
- Ability to follow company health and safety procedures
