Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading Manufacturer in Bradford to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant.
Reporting into the Financial Controller your durties will include
- Accessing online systems to print off supplier invoices.
- Coding, posting and scanning of supplier invoices.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Ensuring that the Accounts Payable Ledger is up to date and accurate.
- Producing weekly and monthly suggested payment runs.
- Circulation and posting of Company Credit Card Statements.
- Completing daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies.
- Monthly Agent’s Commission Statements.
- Posting of cash receipts into Bank and PNC (asset-based lender).
- Identifying any amounts to pay over to PNC.
- Reconciling petty cash.
- Processing expenses.
- Compilation and circulation of weekly management pack.
- Compilation of weekly cashflow for review.
- Monthly inter group reconciliations.
- Dealing with Ad Hoc queries in person, by email and telephone.
- Covering incoming phone calls when required.
- Create reports and attend weekly debtors meetings with the Sales Teams
Qualifications
- AAT Qualified (preferred but not essential)
- GCSE in Maths or related subject
- Strong Excel skills
