We are looking for a friendly and approachable professional to work as a Trade Counter Sales Assistant in Leeds. You will greet customers, process sales, assist with product enquiries, handle payments, cut keys and pack and post online orders. Ideally you will have had previous experience of a similar role in a trade or retail environment, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
· Meeting and greeting customers at the Trade Counter.
· Processing sales and taking customer payments at the checkout till.
· Processing, picking, packing, and posting online orders.
· Cutting keys.
· Dealing with face to face, telephone, and email enquiries.
· Providing advice and product recommendations to customers.
· Providing customers with information such as stock availability, pricing, and lead times.
· Providing technical support on products for customers.
· Liaising with suppliers and ordering new stock.
· Checking, receiving, and unpacking new shipments from suppliers.
· Building and maintaining good working relationships with your team and customers.
· Collaborating with other team members to keep the front desk area clean and organised at all times.
Requirements:
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Previous experience of working in a trade or retail environment.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· High level of self-motivation.
· Good organisational skills.
· Driven to achieve high standards.
· Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative.
· Knowledge of key cutting/locks desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
