A successful, independent holiday-letting agent in Poole & Bournemouth is urgently seeking a Service Team Manager to join its friendly team and take charge of 35, directly-employed cleaners tasked with cleaning and laundering 150 four and five star holiday homes throughout the area. Applicants will need a positive, can-do attitude, have a firm understanding of computer scheduling software, Excel, and be a strong team motivator. They must, above all, be organised and unflappable, to rota cleaners in a busy and ever-changing environment, where last-minute bookings and cancellations keep everyone on their toes!
The busy role is predominantly office-based in Poole Old Town but applicants will often be required to drive-out to check properties standards, oversee cleaners and handle arising issues, so a full driving licence is a must, it will involve coaching, recruitment, training and performance management, overseeing any disciplinary matters together with empowering staff and building relationships with the team. The successful applicant will be an efficient time manager, whilst dealing with clients and colleagues alike in a professional and friendly manner resolving any issues from the client by managing their expectations. The applicant will also be responsible for seasonal recruitment and monitoring staff performance.
The role is 5-days a week with every Saturday worked, with a day off in the working week in lieu. Hours are from 9.15am to 6pm. Dependent on experience, the salary will be between £27,000-£29,000pa with the added benefits of free parking, pension and 28 days annual holiday.
