We are looking for a Fine Art tutor to join the Foundation teaching team ( FAD ) in the Art and Design Department.
You will be working with an experienced team of tutor s and the course coordinator, co-teaching with another Fine Art tutor to deliver a specialist experience to learners on the Fine Art Pathway.
Applicants must have experience of teaching and assessing accredited L3 courses, preferably with industry/Creative practice experience. We are looking for tutor with strong digital skills and knowledge of areas such as Creative digital media, lens-based media or animation, as long side conceptual practice.
This role will entail tutor ing on the Fine Art pathway, working to course briefs and supporting learners in the production of their specialist portfolios. It also includes compulsory additional marking, meeting, assessment and tutorial time, to enable you to support students with verbal and written feedback as they develop work in line with UAL Assessment Criteria.
You will offer students pastoral support as they take their next steps into higher education or employment, including writing personal statements and completing UCAS applications.
Teaching will be from September 24 to early July 25
Tuesdays 10-4pm
5 Hours per week - 34 weeks
Additional pre-agreed paid time w ill be set aside for meetings, assessment, and professional development training.
Interviews are scheduled for 5th June 2024.
