Setting Out Engineer - Groundworks

The Project

As a Setting Out Engineer you will complete the Setting Out for groundworks on a development in South East London. You will be Setting Out for fire mains, drainage, ducts & services, welded pipelines, roads, kerbs, etc.

ASAP start for 1 month minimum In South East London, Belvedere.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

• CSCS Card
• Own Laptop & AutoCAD
• Proficient in using the TS16 for Setting Out

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

• Experienced in Setting Out groundworks

The Role

• Job Title:Setting Out Engineer - Groundworks
• Location: South East London
• Duration: 1 Month minimum
• Reporting to: Senior Engineer

Duties

• To attend Team Briefs
• Facilitate agreement of variations
• Attend in-house progress meetings
• Setting up and maintaining site control
• Setting out for groundworks including but not limited to fire mains, drainage, ducts & services, welded pipelines, roads, kerbs
• Ensuring compliance with works standards
• Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
• Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
• Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
