SalaryBNJ Consultants is an employment company that provides Manufacturing Personnel across the UK. We have a great opportunity for Sewing Machinists. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temp to perm & permanent basis.
BREAKDOWN FOR THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
- Products: Bespoke Furniture
- Salary: 11.44 minimum per hour PLUS bonus up to 145 p/week. Pay levels differ depending on skill and aptitude
- Hours: 39 hours per week, 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12pm Friday. Any hours worked over 39 paid at time and a half

DUTIES FOR THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
- Follow operating instructions for the Industrial Sewing Machines: Single needle, twin needle, Heavy duty machines.
- Must have experience on working as a Sewing Machinist in the textile industry
IDEAL SEWING MACHINIST CANDIDATE:
- Good attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Previous experience in operating Sewing Machines: Overlock & Lockstitch
- Experience on sewing furniture highly preferred
