Hrs of work: Mon-Thu 08:00-17:00 and Fri 08:00-13:00
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist who will be responsible for operating both single and double stitch machines, sewing heavy fabrics to produce a variety of panels and sheets to quality standards.
Main duties of a Sewing Machinist will include:
- Reading and interpretation of basic drawings and templates.
- Marking, cutting, and sewing heavy fabrics.
- Operating the industrial sewing machine safely at all times.
- Quality checking of finished products.
Key skills of a Sewing Machinist include:
- Previous industrial sewing machine experience.
- Ability to work from basic drawings & templates.
- Experience of working with heavy fabrics.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Great team player.
