Exciting opportunities have arisen for a Shared Lives Officer to join Swindon Shared Lives Team. You will form part of specialist team responsible for supporting people with learning disabilities to live in Family setting.
Your next role
Experience of working in Learning Disability Setting. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a friendly approach and the ability to work in an ever-changing environment. You will provide continuous support to Carers and the Wider SBC Team.
This is a varied role within a friendly and supportive team, and provides opportunities for a variety of training. Successful applicants will be required to attend an induction programme as well as in house, online and bespoke training. As part of this role you will be required to have good verbal and written skills, as well as be able to use computers, including Microsoft package and email.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
