The Opportunity


Salary:
£25,119 to £26,421 per annum (£11,541 to £12,139 per annum, pro rata’d)

Working Pattern: Part-time, 17 hours per week (Hours to be worked over three days to include Monday)

Location: County Hall, Chichester and working from home (Hybrid)

Interview date: w/c 01 April 2024

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, confident candidate to join our team as a Shared Services Administrator on a part-time basis.

As a Shared Services Administrator, you are responsible for the contractual administration and processing associated with DBS applications, position and structure changes, redundancy, probation period letters, visa renewals, invoicing, SAP reporting quality assurance checks and SAP system requests.

You will provide professional advice, guidance and information on subjects in relation to terms and conditions, HR and payroll policy and procedures.

Responsibilities are varied but focus on providing customer service and administration support within agreed timescales and service level agreements.


What are we looking for?

  • You will have good communication skills and be able to establish strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • You will be able to work collaboratively across Payroll and HR teams to develop and improve services to customers.
  • You will be adaptable and responsive to changing demands or new ways of working.
  • You will be able to work independently, organising and prioritising your work and coordinating a variety of tasks to meet deadlines.
  • You will be confident in providing specialist advice and guidance, for example when advising on SAP structure builds regarding what may be possible or practical, or when advising managers on visa renewal processes to ensure that WSCC remains compliant with legislation.
  • You may also be required to provide training sessions to service users on occasion – for example to managers on SAP self-service.
  • You will be comfortable processing information that is highly confidential and sensitive, including redundancy data, DBS countersigning, visa renewals, and responding efficiently to queries from other external agencies including the police, and to internal services including Finance.
