MONDAY - THURSDAY: 07.30 - 16.30

FRIDAY: 07.30 - 14.00

£14.00 - £16.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

People Solutions are looking for a Sheet Metal Worker with experience in laser welding to join their Droitwich based client on a temp to perm basis.

The candidates must be skilled Fabricators and must be able to read drawings.

If you have previously worked as either a Laser Welder or a Sheet Metal Worker, we want to hear from you.

Day to Day Duties

As a Sheet Metal Worker you will undertake the following duties:

• Laser and MIG Welding
• Reading and understanding Technical Drawings
• Cutting lists and folding products

Essential Skills

As a Sheet Metal Worker you will have the following skills:

• 3 to 5 years of working in the fabricating field and must be able to demonstrate high proficiency in this area
• Must have proven experience of Laser Welding
• Good engineering/fabrication knowledge
• Ability to fabricate and assemble Sheet Metal products
• Ability to tack weld fitted parts together
• Able to position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units, following drawings and layout specifications, using welding equipment and hand tools

Desirable Experience

As a Sheet Metal Operative you will ideally have the following:

• Be proficient in MIG Welding
• Good knowledge of the Droitwich area
• Own transport due to the location of the site
