Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a high performing FMCG business in Eccles. The Assistant Management Accountant will play a key role in the Finance function, providing support to the FD with month end and management accounts duties. This role is perfect for somebody at the early stages of CIMA/ACCA and looking to progress & learn.
Salary: up to £38,000
Location: Eccles
Main Responsibilities:
- Projects ledger analysis for trading companies within the Group to ensure accurate gross margin reporting
- Monthly overhead analysis
- Accurate assessment and posting of prepayments, accruals and other journal adjustments
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure weekly cashflow forecast is accurate
- Support preparation of the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting.
Skills required:
- Previous experience within a role covering the duties above
- Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA though may consider other relevant experience.
- Excellent financial systems experience, ideally using Sage 50 including administrator duties
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis eg Lookup's and Pivot Tables..
