Shift Chemist

Salary: Competitive plus Veolia benefits (pension 7%, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, life assurance 4 x salary)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Day) 08:00-16:30, (Early) 06:00-14:00, (Late) 14:00-22:00
Location - Norwood, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S21 2DR

What will you be doing?

• Checking and completing legal documentation (Consignment Note)
  
• Updating electronic systems daily
  
• Analysis of incoming and outgoing materials from the site
  
• Sampling Tankers, Packaged Goods and Environmental Monitoring
  
• Instrument QC checks
  
• Housekeeping
  
• Comply with company policies
  
• Responsible for the Health and Safety of self and others
  

What are we looking for?

• Chemistry Degree
  
• 2 years of laboratory expertise preferable
  
• Organised and confident individual
  
• Must have a full driving licence and transport due to the location of the site.
  
• Computer literate (e.g.Google Drive)
  
• Knowledge of the waste industry, beneficial
