Shift Maintenance Engineer

Adecco Engineering is thrilled to be exclusively partnering with our client in the Edinburgh area, in the search for a highly versatile Shift Maintenance Engineer. As part of a small engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of one of our client's laundries. This dynamic and varied position requires excellent maintenance and fault-finding skills, along with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude in dealing with a wide variety of tasks.

Our client, a specialist in supplying the corporate 4-star market, the budget hotel sector, and national gyms, is seeking a talented individual to join their organisation as a Shift Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will provide vital support, helping to ensure the smooth running of the business within a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completion of routine maintenance in line with the agreed site plan.
• Repair and maintenance of plant and equipment to minimise production downtime.
• Accurate recording of all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes.
• Ensuring all duties are performed in accordance with current health and safety legislation.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias.
• A track record of working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency in PLC's.
• A proactive and can-do attitude.
• 4 on 4 off shift

While experience in the laundry or FMCG industry would be advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable skills and a passion for learning.
