Shift Manager

A global supplier of safety-critical components, sold into various high-precision industries is now looking for a Shift Manager to join their plant in Milton Keynes. This large, award-winning engineering and manufacturing business has the enviable track record of maintaining industry-leading quality standards whilst diversifying its customer base and supplying solutions worldwide. Shift Manager duties will include -

• Manage production resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Maintaining and building teams, driving the correct training, coaching, and development.
• Producing detailed, high-quality regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Involvement in high-value projects and improvement of the overall performance of the site.
• Implementing and maintaining the highest standards of quality control, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Driving innovation and implementing the latest industry best practices to enhance a competitive edge.

Shift Manager requirements include -

• Proven success in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
• Ideally experience, or knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to lead, motivate, and collaborate.
• A strategic mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• A commitment to sustainability, quality, and safety standards.
• Mechanical engineering degree (HNC/HND), or other relevant engineering training.
