SalaryShift Manager
Reporting to the Factory Manager, key areas of responsibility will include:
- Professional management of the factory operation.
- Being the main point for all production matters including the development of a collaborative, high performing operations team.
- Achieving the production plan efficiently, whilst also achieving quality and hygiene standards and adhering to H&S guidelines.
- GMP and Hygiene throughout the factory.
- In conjunction with the Factory and Technical Manager this role is key to ensuring the company achieves all relevant accreditations and standards
- People Management responsibilities will include deputising for the Factory Manager.
- Model the Core Values of Respect, Professionalism and Innovation and develop them within the team.
- Effectively manage the performance and wellbeing of the team (PAWS).
- Work alongside the management team to develop a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) to improve products, manufacturing processes, procedures, and policies.
- Actively promote and comply with all employment policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for the factory Health & Safety, maintaining the highest standards ensuring that employees adhere to H&S policy guidelines.
Previous supervisory experience in a factory environment is essential.
FMCG experience is desirable .
This is a full-time role: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 06:30 to 15:00 hrs based at Little Melton, NR9 3NP.
