We are currently recruiting for a manufacturing company based locally to Cradley who are looking to appoint Production Supervisor to the PM shift.
What will your day to day activities as a Production Supervisor include?
This role will be based from Cradley working on a 4 on 4 off shift system with the fixed hours of 6:30pm 6:30am.
The role will be responsible for:
- Motivating a team of 12 operatives
- Coaching and training operatives through any problems
- Delegating workload effectively
- Planning and coordinating production, storage and dispatch of manufactured goods
- Ensure that companies Health & Safety policies are enforced throughout the team
- Ensure that the team are working to the companies quality standards
- Identify training and development requirements within the team
- Drive high housekeeping standards within the team
- Ensure the team are keeping on top of machine cleaning and maintenance and reporting any breakdowns to the maintenance department in a timely manner
What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
- Team Lead / Supervisor / Management experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading teams of a minimum of 6 people
- Strong motivational and organisational/planning skills
- Ability to delegate effectively
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Any higher education in either management or manufacturing would be beneficial
- A hardworking mentality
- An honest and reliable personality
- Computer literate
- Ability to work on a 4 on 4 off shift for the foreseeable future
