Yolk Recruitment is partnered with a global engineering leader in the recruitment of a Shift Supervisor to join a growing operation. The business provides an essential specialist service to a high-profile customer base across a range of critical sectors, and offers an exciting career in a secure sector, with the opportunity to make a significant impact.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for weekend work only to suit their lifestyle, receiving 36 hours pay for just working 24 hours per week!
The working days are Saturday + Sunday - either 6 am - 6pm or 6 pm - 6 am, rotating each weekend.
This is what you'll be doing:
- Adhere to written instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
- Manage the shift workload by planning and organising tasks, including preparing job packs and conducting testing.
- Coordinate and brief the team, fostering motivation to achieve production targets.
- Work in a safe and responsible manner, following company health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with van driving when required to support site operations.
- Monitor and report on all factors affecting the processing of products.
And this is what you'll need:
- Good numerical skills.
- Able to work accurately, paying good attention to detail.
- Proficient understanding of computers, and familiarity with spreadsheets is beneficial.
- Engineering background.
- First aid certificate.

- Full time salary.
