Astute's Renewables team is partnering a leading producer of biogas in the UK, to recruit a Shift Team Leader for its Nottingham site, to manage a Shift Team to optimise production output, maintenance, and safety across the site.
The Shift Team Leader role comes with a salary up to 45,000 company benefits and excellent training and development.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Site Manager you will:
- Deliver best practise, plant performance and operating effectiveness. Specifically looking at compliance, availability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Assist the site manager with team recruitment.
- Promote a high performance culture, assessing KPIs and accountability.
- Drive innovation, technically and through innovation, to increase plant performance.
- Report KPIs and performance to senior management.
- Ensure delivery KPIs are achieved.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Level 3 engineering qualification in engineering discipline.
- Maintenance and operational knowledge within a process industry.
Personal skills
The Shift Team Leader role would suit someone who is:
- Exhibits supervisor/ Team Leader skills.
- Project management skills.
- Decisive decision making
- Management of SHEQ
Salary and benefits of the Shift Team Leader role:
- Salary between 42,000- 45,000
