Our client, a leading custom design and manufacturing company with a successful track record spanning over 25 years, is looking to acquire the services of a Shipping Coordinator to join their Customer Support Team. The company operates globally, catering to diverse industries, and is expanding due to continued growth. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, the successful candidate will play a role in providing support to the Sales & Service Teams and process and coordinate the despatch of goods and incoming returns. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating with Internal Sales, Parts, and Service teams to facilitate the direct delivery of parts and equipment to UK customers.
- Generating Packing Lists and Delivery notes.
- Collaborating with forwarders to arrange timely collections/deliveries at the best value.
- Working with forwarding agents to ensure they are equipped with all necessary information for customs clearance.
- Creating Proof of Export documentation.
- Monitoring orders throughout the process and tracking their progress.
- Addressing overdue orders and providing updates to the relevant teams.
- Organising the required documentation for returned items.
- Collaborating with Goods In to ensure proper handling of returned items.
Key Skills & Experience
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of Chamber of Commerce processes and Incoterms.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Familiarity with Outlook Email or a similar system.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Proficient in generating and processing Export Documentation.
- Knowledge of Sage, SAP, or similar accounting software packages.

- Working Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 4.45pm
- Office based in Banbury
