- Sign Fitting & Installation - Fitting of various signs internally and externally
- Producing various types of signage – Acrylic, ACM, Window Vinyl, Illuminated Lettering, etc
- Basic wiring/electrical work for illuminated signage
- Vinyl application to various substrates including contour cut vinyl and vehicle wraps
- Using state of the art UV Canon printers for both vinyl printing and flatbed printing
- Operating Kongsberg cutting machine to cut various materials for signage production
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Signage Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills maths and English where required
- Training location to be confirmed
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- To be decided upon at the successful completion apprenticeship
Things to consider
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job and able to work safely whilst on site visits and installations.
- Must be comfortable working from height on installations.
- Heavy Lifting and standing most of day.
