The role
As a Signalling Installer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Babcock supports Network Rail and other rail industry customers in providing a safe, reliable and efficient rail network across Northern Ireland.
Day to day, you'll help with the installation of signalling equipment across the railway lines in Northern Ireland.
- Train Protection Warning Systems and Automatic Warning Systems
- Service and repair
- Reactive troubleshooting
- Assisting new location cases
Essential experience of the Signalling Installer:
- Experience in Signalling and Telecoms
- IRSE Licence
- Undertaken Technical signalling courses
This role is on a roster of 140 hours over 4 weeks and your hours will vary within this. There is a roster premium paid as well as time and a half for any overtime.
Qualifications for the Signalling Installer:
- IRSE Licence
- Signalling modules SMTH, Mod 3C, Mod 5 desirable.
- TSC desirable.
