Single Point of Contact (SPOC) PARTNER

Location: Hybrid remote - Work from home and Horsham Office

Salary: £23,419 pro rata (£11,710 for 20 hours)

Contract Type: Permanent and Part-Time (20 Hours)

Closing Date: First suitable candidate will be appointed

Essential Requirements:

The ideal SPOC Partner will:

  • Understand the impact of violence and abuse on a person and offer a supportive and empathic response
  • Be confident and comfortable when talking to people in crisis and when carrying out initial assessments via the phone
  • Have knowledge and experience of Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Social Media (e.g Facebook, Twitter) and on line booking systems
  • Have experience of managing and updating a case management system or workbook
  • Be a skilled and able administrator and offer a full clerical and administrative service to the whole team

The Role:

As a SPOC Partner you will support the delivery of the service and be the first Point of Contact for clients, professionals and others via the SPOC phone and email.

You will answer enquiries, take down referral information accurately and collate information from referrals and direct assessments.

You will be able to manage an on-line case management system, inputting accurate information which will inform contractual and stakeholders reporting requirements.

  • You will be experienced, skilled and enthusiastic.
  • You will be passionate about working with individuals who have experienced domestic abuse.
  • You will ensure that everything you do improves safety and reduces harm for all victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
  • You will be used to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will be skilled at working with crisis and be an excellent communicator.
  • You will use your initiative to resolve routine queries often lone working.
  • You will respond to customer needs for information.
  • You will have an understanding and commitment to a wide range of values that underpin this work including being non-judgemental, person centred, trauma informed and gender responsive and be able to demonstrate these values.
