The main duties of the Sister - Charge Nurse role include:
- Accountable for the daily management of the Hospital Ward and its personnel, offering clinical guidance to effectively manage ward resources, striving for exceptional care across all patient interactions.
- Focused on improving customer service and satisfaction for service users.
- Tasked with guiding and assisting the nursing team in fulfilling the clinical governance agenda.
- Maintain professional conduct in accordance with the standard and framework outlined by the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
- Registered Nurse Level 1/Diploma/BSc holder in Nursing Studies.
- Seasoned in providing acute nursing care.
- Current and comprehensive knowledge in the relevant area of practice.
- Familiarity with the NMC Code of Accountability.
- Proficient in recruitment and selection methodologies.
- Previous experience in an acute healthcare setting, serving in a Senior Registered Nurse role or an equivalent capacity.
- Completed a post-registration academic program in critical care nursing.
