Your new role
The organisation are looking for a Site Administrator to join their administration team and support the business. This role is based in Avonmouth, 100% office based. Salary for this role is £26,000 p/a. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00. Main duties of the role include:
Providing supply administration support to project teams and site staffRaising purchase orders for materials, supplies and equipment as directed by the Hire Desk Coordinator, Project Managers and Site ManagersAssisting with hiring of equipment as directed by the Hire Desk Coordinator, Project Managers and/or Site Managers Relocation of plant and equipment as directedBeing first point of contact to assist with operational issues associated with demand and supply volatility, including supply constraints, production, transportation issues, compliance issues or unexpected demandAssist with addressing and resolving delivery and collection issues promptlyMaintaining records for materials, supplies, and equipment on siteAssisting Project Managers with supplier product selection and pricing as requiredBuilding supplier relationships and monitoring supplier performance What you'll need to succeed Experience of working within the construction industry, hiring plant & equipment is desirable but not essential.Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with colleagues, following written and verbal instructionExcellent organisational skills, willing to adapt quickly to changeExcellent planning & time management skillsAble to work to deadlinesSelf-motivatedGood IT / Technical skills (Excel, Word, Outlook essential)Good negotiation skillsAbility to follow processes with good attention to detailCustomer focussedPleasant telephone manner What you'll get in return Free onsite parkingEmployer pension schemeHealthcare benefits schemeSupport towards achieving qualifications What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
