You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor working on a major smart motorway project in the Northampton area. This industry-leading contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the highways sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Agent to join their team.
Your new role
As Site Agent, you will be based in the Northampton area responsible for, but not limited to, supervising and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring detailed site records and maintained and archived, producing and managing the project programme, resourcing construction materials, ensuring works are delivered safely and to specified quality as well as assuming overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have proven successful experience of managing smart motorway schemes from inception through to completion. You will also hold a CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualification, and be able to manage both direct labour and subcontractors. Finally, you will also be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders as well as ensure best practice of HSE.
